About
Niemonjima is a small island just off Futomi on the Kamogawa coast, owned by the same family for generations. A short boat ride takes visitors across to walk around its rocky shore and see the old Hirano family house. The surrounding waters are among the few places on the Boso coast where small fish can be seen while snorkelling.
