About

The Airliner is the standard way between Oita Airport and Beppu: comfortable express coaches run along the coast of Beppu Bay, stopping at Beppu Kitahama (for the seafront hotels and Kai Beppu) and near Beppu Station, with some continuing to Oita city on a separate route. Buses are timed to flight arrivals and depart from stop 1 outside the arrivals hall. Pay by IC card (SUGOCA, nimoca, Suica and others) or buy a ticket at the counter or machine. Large suitcases go in the hold.
