Lake Sagami was created by damming the Sagami River and is an easy day trip from Tokyo on the JR Chuo Line. Boat rentals and short cruises leave from the lakeside near the station, and Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest offers camping, BBQ, outdoor activities and a large winter illumination.
