About

The Komagatake Ropeway climbs from Hakone-en on Lake Ashi to the top of Mt. Komagatake in about seven minutes. The summit plateau gives some of Hakone's widest views: Mt. Fuji, the whole lake, and Sagami Bay. A short walk leads to Hakone Shrine's Mototsumiya, the shrine's original site on the peak.
