About
The Manazuru Peninsula was formed from a solidified lava plateau and is covered by the O-rin, a protected forest of huge pines and camphors. Trails lead down to a rocky shore facing the Mitsuishi rocks, a popular New Year sunrise spot. The fishing town is known for seafood and the July Kibune Festival at Kifune Shrine.
