Yamamotoyama has sold tea in Nihonbashi since 1690 and is credited with popularising gyokuro. Its flagship in the Nihonbashi Takashimaya Mitsui Building has a tea room that brews sencha and gyokuro carefully and serves up to a third infusion, with a shop of store-exclusive teas.
