About

Toranomon Hills grew from one tower in 2014 into a full district by 2023. The original Mori Tower famously straddles a road: Loop Road No. 2 runs through a tunnel under the building, and the tower's own oval park sits on top. The Business Tower and Residential Tower followed, and in October 2023 came the Station Tower, designed by Rem Koolhaas's OMA, rising directly above the Hibiya Line's Toranomon Hills Station, which opened in 2020. A broad pedestrian deck, the T-Deck, carries you across the busy Sakurada-dori avenue between the towers. The top of the Station Tower holds TOKYO NODE, an information and culture hub with immersive exhibitions, a main hall, a rooftop sky garden and infinity pool, and destination restaurants. Lower down are food halls, cafes and the Toranomon Yokocho izakaya alley. It is Tokyo's showcase of how the city is rebuilding itself around transit.
