Andaz Tokyo crowns Toranomon Hills Mori Tower, and its Rooftop Bar, styled after the refined simplicity of a Katsura-style teahouse with timber and paper screens, is one of the most beautiful high-altitude rooms in the city. In spring and autumn the outdoor terrace opens for a rare open-air drink at over 200 metres. Cocktails lean on Japanese botanicals, and there is a small sushi counter alongside. It is quieter than the New York Bar and very romantic at dusk.
