This compact branch of the official Tokyo Tourist Information Center stands directly in front of the ticket gates of Keisei Ueno Station, the Tokyo terminus of the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport. Staff speak Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean and can sort out your onward route by JR or subway, recommend Ueno Park's museums, the zoo and Ameyoko, and help with Tokyo accommodation questions. There is free Wi-Fi and a stock of Tokyo and regional brochures. The station exits straight onto the southern edge of Ueno Park and Shinobazu Pond, so it is also a handy orientation point for a museum day.

• Keisei Ueno is a separate station from JR Ueno: allow 3 minutes on foot to the JR Shinobazu Exit
