About

Most airport hotels make you clear immigration first; the Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda is unusual because part of it sits airside inside the Terminal 3 secure zone. Transit passengers with long connections can book a room or a shorter refresh stay there and walk back to the gates, while the landside rooms upstairs suit anyone with a dawn flight who wants to roll out of bed into the departure hall. Rooms are compact and quiet, fitted with blackout curtains and everything a jet-lagged traveller needs, and the terminal's restaurants, Edo Koji and observation deck are all a lift ride away. It is pricier per square metre than the Villa Fontaine across the way, but nothing beats it for convenience.
