About

Shinjuku Takano has sold premium fruit since 1885, and its 5th-floor fruit parlour is where you taste why Japanese fruit is famous. The menu changes with the season: strawberry parfaits in winter and spring, peach and mango in summer, grapes like Shine Muscat and chestnuts in autumn, plus year-round classics like the mixed fruit parfait and the extravagant Shizuoka musk melon parfait. Fruit sandwiches and seasonal fruit plates are also on the menu. The ground-floor shop sells immaculate gift fruit worth browsing even if you don't buy.
