About

Stand at the bottom of Spain-zaka where it leaves Inokashira-dori near Center Gai and shoot uphill: the lane narrows into a stone stairway with tiled roofs, arched windows and hanging signs, climbing toward Parco. The view from the top looking down also works, with the busy Shibuya street visible at the end. Overcast days or evening, when the shop lights are on, give the most even light in the narrow lane. Shops open straight onto the steps, so do not sit on them, keep tripods folded and let people pass.
