About

Built as a disaster-prevention park on former industrial land, Oshima Komatsugawa Park spreads along the bank of the Arakawa river. The Wind Plaza is a big open lawn famous for kite flying, the Seasons Plaza has flower beds and cherry trees, and there are baseball and football fields and a childrens play area. The red-brick Komatsugawa Lock, a remnant of the old canal system, stands in the park. Entry is free.
