About

Onibus roasts its own beans and is one of the names that built Tokyo's third-wave scene. The Nakameguro shop is a converted old house beside the Tokyu Toyoko Line: order downstairs at the espresso bar, then climb to the small upstairs room or sit on the bench in the little yard and watch trains glide by a few metres away. The menu is short, espresso drinks, hand-drip single origins, and seasonal options, and the baristas are happy to recommend beans. It's a perfect stop on a walk along the Meguro River, especially during cherry-blossom season.
