Rebuilt in 1983 on the site of a shogun's tea house, Nakajima no Ochaya stands over the seawater pond of Hama-rikyu Gardens. Visitors sit on tatami and have matcha with a seasonal sweet while looking across the water to the skyscrapers of Shiodome.
