About
The Rock Garden is a narrow forested valley below Musashi Mitake Shrine, where a clear stream runs between moss-covered boulders. The roughly 1.5 km route from Tengu-iwa rock past Nanayo Falls to Ayahiro Falls is easy enough for beginners, with only a few steep steps near Nanayo Falls. Fit hikers can continue to the summit of Mt. Otake.
Highlights
- Moss-covered boulders along a clear stream

- Tengu-iwa rock and shrine
- Optional extension to Mt. Otake (1,267 m)
Tips
