Kinuta Park is one of west Tokyos favourite family parks. Its central Family Park lawn is huge and dotted with big shady trees, the cycling course lets children ride rental bikes on a loop, and the Setagaya Art Museum sits at the parks edge. The cherry blossoms in spring are among the most picnic-friendly in Tokyo, with wide spaces under the trees. Entry is free.
