About
Baji Koen opened in 1940 as a training ground for riders and hosted equestrian events at both the 1964 and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. After a major rebuild it reopened to the public in late 2023 with new arenas, broad lawns and tree-lined paths where visitors can watch horses being trained. Seasonal horse events and festivals are held here. Admission is free.
