Located on the left in front of the JR South Gate at Ikebukuro, this has the shortest hours of JR East's central Tokyo visitor centers (10:00–17:00), but it covers the same core services: Japan Rail Pass and JR East area passes, basic fare and Shinkansen tickets, JR-EAST Train Reservation collection, East Japan and Hokuriku tourist information and Ikebukuro area maps, with free JR-EAST Wi-Fi. Ikebukuro is a good base for the Narita Express and for trips north toward Kawagoe and Nikko, so it is handy if you are staying on this side of the city.
