At the end of a bus ride through warehouses on reclaimed Jonanjima, this park opens onto a little sandy beach ('Tsubasa Beach') facing Tokyo Bay and the runways of Haneda Airport. When the wind direction is right, airliners pass low overhead almost continuously, making it the city's favourite plane-spotting beach. There is a campground, barbecue area, dog run and lawns. At sunset, planes, cargo ships and the Tokyo Gate Bridge glow, and you will be surrounded by locals and aviation fans, not tourists.
