About
Jindai Botanical Gardens covers wooded slopes beside Jindaiji Temple and is the Tokyo metropolitan government's main botanical garden. Its formal rose garden, the largest in Tokyo with some 5,000 bushes, peaks in May and again in October. Cherry and plum groves, azaleas, peonies, a pond-side aquatic garden and a large conservatory with tropical plants and begonias give something to see in every season.
