About

Itchodaira lies on the ridge trail from the summit of Mt. Takao toward Kobotoke Shiroyama. Known as the Takaosan Senbonzakura, its mountain and Somei-Yoshino cherries bloom in mid to late April, after the city's blossoms have fallen. An observation deck here looks toward Mt. Fuji on clear days, making it one of the best photo stops on the Takao ridge.
