Eiraku (Oimachi) 永楽
An Oimachi alley machi-chuka in business for around 66 years (since about 1960), serving classic shoyu ramen a minute from the station in the Showa-flavoured Higashi-koji lanes.
Gyoza: ¥500
About
Eiraku stands in the Higashi-koji drinking lanes beside Oimachi Station and has been cooking since around 1960. Its ramen is a classic soy-based bowl with noodles, chashu and green onion in the machi-chuka tradition, and gyoza and fried rice round out the menu; it is one of the best-rated old shops in Shinagawa Ward. The cramped counter and steamy windows feel unchanged in decades, and regulars include local workers and the evening drinking crowd. Oimachi is a short hop from Shinagawa, making this an easy detour for travellers.
