About
Tabata is a small Yamanote station where the line splits from the Keihin-Tohoku. Its lockers are inside the North Gate: turn right after you tap in and the bank is near the stairs down to platforms 1 and 2, with about 19 small, 3 medium and 3 large lockers. They take IC cards, coins and 1,000-yen notes and are open from first to last train. There are no lockers at the small South Gate. The station suits a walk to the Tabata Literary Village Museum or the uphill streets toward Yanaka.
