Cat Street follows the course of the buried Shibuya River, so it curves gently between Omotesando and Miyashita Park instead of running straight. Stand near the Jingumae 6-chome section where it crosses Omotesando and shoot along the curve for a layered frame of storefronts, trees and street-style shoppers; the murals and shop facades also suit tight detail shots. Afternoon is liveliest, while weekday mornings give empty compositions. Many people here are fashion-conscious and some are on shoots: ask before photographing individuals and do not block shop entrances.
