About

The Yamamoto family's noh theatre was founded in 1927, rebuilt in 1950 after wartime fire and is a registered tangible cultural property. It is known for making noh accessible: some performances have English, Chinese or Korean subtitles, and it runs short introductory programmes, backstage tours and hands-on noh experiences. Visitor guides often recommend it over other Osaka venues for non-Japanese speakers.
