Nishikinohama in Kaizuka is one of the most popular swimming beaches in Osaka prefecture, a long strand backed by an old pine grove in Nishikinohama Park. Summer brings beach huts, lifeguards and families from the city. It is a short walk from Nankais Nishikinohama Station, and has camping and barbecue areas in the park. Facing west across Osaka Bay, the beach sees beautiful sunsets toward Awaji Island and Kansai Airport.
