Rinku Gate Tower, completed in 1996, is a twin-spine skyscraper designed as a "gate" to KIX. Its hotel occupies upper floors with views straight across the water to the airport, and the top-floor restaurant and bar are prime spots to watch planes and the sun dropping behind Awaji Island. It's one stop from KIX and next to Rinku Town Station, the outlets and Rinku Park.
