About
Kita-Kagaya was a shipbuilding town in the Taisho era. Its empty warehouses and factories have been reborn as studios and canvases. Murals by Japanese and international artists are scattered through the streets, the best known being Ben Eine's huge painted alphabet letters and the 'Rude Kids' series. Walking the area is like a treasure hunt.
