About

Kadoya Shokudo is the elder statesman of Osaka's modern ramen scene, reopened in its current Nishinagahori home in 2010 and a fixture on every Tabelog Ramen 100 list since they began in 2017. The chuka soba is a model of restraint: a clear, golden chicken broth with a soy tare, silky noodles and tender chashu. The tsukesoba, with its springy noodles and dense dipping soup, has its own following, and the black-pork umami soba is a deeper option. Lunch-only service makes the queue the main hurdle.
