Fukushima Izakaya Quarter 福島 飲み屋街
One stop from Osaka Station, Fukushima is the foodie neighbourhood where Osakans go for creative izakaya, yakitori, natural wine and seafood bars in small backstreets under the elevated tracks.
About
Fukushima has quietly become one of Osaka's best eating areas. The streets between JR Fukushima, Hanshin Fukushima and Shin-Fukushima stations are filled with small, quality-driven places: charcoal yakitori counters, oyster bars, Japanese-wine bars, modern Osaka bistros and lively izakaya under the railway arches. It feels much less touristy than Umeda just next door, and it is easy to hop between several places in an evening.
