About

Amemura (short for Amerika-mura) got its name in the 1970s when shops started importing vintage American clothes and records. It is still the best place in Osaka for vintage and used clothing, from cheap kilo shops to curated designer resale, as well as streetwear brands, sneakers, record shops and tattoo parlours. Triangle Park at the centre is the hangout spot, and the area turns into a nightlife hub after dark with bars and clubs.
