Sawawa specializes in sweets made with Uji matcha, with sweets for sale downstairs and a café upstairs serving warabimochi, parfaits and anmitsu. Matcha is stone-ground in the shop from spring-harvested leaves. The signature rich matcha warabimochi is made with real bracken flour and cut and packed to order.
