Notoyo West opened in 1963 as a branch of river fish shop Notoyo and sells the same products. Its specialty is eel kabayaki grilled over binchotan, which allows fine heat control and gives a better aroma. Kabayaki, eel liver, eel yawatamaki and ayu are available.
