Kai specializes in furikake, delicacies and snacks, laid out along a counter at the front. Almost everything on display can be sampled while the staff explain the products. Tako tamago, a small octopus stuffed with a quail egg, is popular, as are the sesame-based furikake such as sesame-bonito and sesame-yuzu.
