Hafuu grew out of a Kyoto butcher's shop and specialises in beef: the bifukatsu (breaded beef cutlet), steaks and a well-known beef cutlet sandwich. The main shop is south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It has been a Tabelog Yoshoku Hyakumeiten (2020, 2022, 2023, 2025).
