About
Gekkeikan, founded in Fushimi in 1637, runs this museum in one of its old brewery buildings by the willow-lined canal. Displays cover the company's history and traditional sake-making equipment, and visitors over 20 finish with a tasting of three seasonal sakes. A separate guided brewery tour can be booked in advance. Payment is cashless only.
