About
Saga-Arashiyama on the JR Sagano Line is the JR gateway to Arashiyama, about 10 minutes' walk from the bamboo grove and Tenryu-ji, and right beside Torokko Saga, the start of the Sagano scenic train. Lockers are to the right as you exit the gate, beside the kiosk. They fill early on weekends and in foliage season. Arashiyama has three stations (JR, Randen and Hankyu), and the Randen Arashiyama station information desk also keeps bags.

Tips
- Arrive before 9:30 in autumn or leave bags at Kyoto Station instead
- Randen Arashiyama and Hankyu Arashiyama have their own lockers if these are full
- Most lockers are cleared after 3 days and the contents go to the station lost-property office, so don't use them for multi-day storage
