Nijojo-mae on the Tozai subway line exits right across Horikawa-dori from Nijo Castle's Higashi-Otemon gate, the main entrance. Turn left after the ticket gate toward Exit 1 for a bank of around 10 small, 6 medium and 4 large coin lockers. Nijo Castle has no general cloakroom for big bags, so this is the closest place to leave a suitcase.
