Higashiyama on the Tozai subway line is the stop for the Shirakawa canal, Shoren-in, Chion-in and the Okazaki area with Heian Shrine, the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art and the National Museum of Modern Art. Turn left out of the ticket gate to find a bank of about 18 small, 6 medium and 6 large coin lockers. It's one of few locker options in the eastern temple district, so it's worth knowing about.
