Gion-shijo lies under the east end of Shijo Bridge, at the doorstep of Gion, Hanamikoji, Yasaka Shrine and Pontocho. Keihan's official count is around 10 half-size, 65 small, 38 medium, 30 large and 2 extra-large lockers, concentrated along the passage toward Exits 8 and 9 (B1, below the Minamiza theatre side), with smaller banks by the station office near Exit 6 and inside the South Gate. All banks here accept transit IC cards as well as coins, which is unusual for Keihan.
