About
Tatsuno Castle began as a mountain castle on Mt Keiro and was rebuilt at its foot in 1672 by lord Wakisaka Yasumasa. The honmaru palace, tamon turret and gates were reconstructed and can be entered free, and the castle anchors the soy-sauce town of Tatsuno, called the 'Little Kyoto of Harima'.
