Himeji Central Park (Hime-Cen) pairs a safari park, where you drive your own car or ride a safari bus among lions, giraffes and rhinos, with a walk-through zone, an amusement park, a summer pool and a winter ice rink. Hand-feeding sessions for animals such as giraffes, hippos and red pandas are a big draw. It is about 30 minutes by bus from Himeji Station.
