About

Kobe Harborland is the shopping and entertainment district on the old freight yards west of the harbour. Its waterside centre is umie Mosaic, a low-rise mall with open-air decks overlooking the water, a big Ferris wheel and restaurants with harbour terraces. From the boardwalk you look straight across at the red Port Tower and the Maritime Museum, a scene that becomes one of Japans classic night views when the lights come on. Harbour cruise boats depart from the quay nearby.
