About

Maihama is a modest two-track station on the JR Keiyo Line, but it handles one of the biggest leisure crowds in Japan. Platform melodies play Disney tunes, the south exit opens directly onto the plaza for Bon Voyage, Ikspiari and the walkway to Tokyo Disneyland (about 5 minutes), and Resort Gateway Station of the Disney Resort Line sits just next to it. Rapid trains from Tokyo Station take about 15 minutes, but the walk from the Keiyo Line platforms deep under Tokyo Station adds 10 to 15 minutes. Expect very heavy crowds at park closing time.
