Disney Ambassador Hotel ディズニーアンバサダーホテル
Japans first Disney hotel (2000), a 1930s Hollywood Art Deco building beside Ikspiari, with Mickey-themed rooms and the character-dining restaurant Chef Mickey.
About
Inspired by the Art Deco glamour of 1930s Hollywood and Mickeys early cartoons, the Ambassador opened in 2000 as the first Disney-branded hotel in Japan. Its pastel exterior, geometric lobby, zigzag carpets and vintage-style posters are a design treat, and character rooms feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip n Dale and Toy Story motifs. Chef Mickey, the buffet restaurant where characters visit tables, is the big draw for families. It sits a short walk from Maihama Station via Ikspiari and has its own bus to Tokyo DisneySea.
