On B1F of Narita Airport Terminal 1, beside the JR and Keisei ticket gates, this is one of the busiest Japan Rail Pass exchange points in the country. Staff sell N'EX (Narita Express) tickets and the discounted N'EX round-trip ticket, JR East area passes and Shinkansen tickets, exchange and sell Japan Rail Passes, and hand out tourist information for East Japan and Hokuriku, with free JR-EAST Wi-Fi. Queues can be long when several flights land together.

Tips
- Bring your passport: it is required for Japan Rail Pass and most tourist-pass purchases and exchanges
- Queues build in the morning when travellers start their pass; mid-afternoon is usually quicker
- If the queue is huge and you are not riding JR today, exchange your pass later in central Tokyo instead
- Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have separate stations; do not get off the train at the wrong one when departing
