Zushi Beach 逗子海水浴場
A gently curving, calm bay beach a short walk from Zushi Station, popular with families, windsurfers and Yokohama locals, with Mount Fuji and Enoshima across the water.
About
Zushi beach lies in a sheltered bay between Kamakura and Hayama, about 800 m of fine sand with calm water most of the summer. The town has worked hard to keep it a family beach, with rules against loud music, alcohol outside beach huts and tattoo display. Out of season it is one of the best windsurfing spots near Tokyo, and in the evening the sun drops behind Enoshima with Fuji visible on clear days. The Zushi Beach Film Festival and summer fireworks are local highlights.
Highlights
- Calm, shallow bay water, good for families
- Mount Fuji and Enoshima views at sunset
- Windsurfing and SUP in spring and autumn
- Family-focused beach rules keep it relaxed

Tips
- Swimming season is set by Zushi city each year (late June or July to end of August).
