About
Zeniarai Benten sits in a narrow valley west of central Kamakura, reached through a short tunnel cut into the rock. Inside, a cave holds a spring where people rinse coins and banknotes in small baskets, hoping the money will multiply. It links well with the Daibutsu hiking trail toward the Great Buddha.
