About
Motomachi grew up serving the foreign residents of the Yamate Bluff in the 19th century and still has a Western-influenced feel. Family-run stores such as Kitamura (bags), Fukuzo (clothing) and Mihama (shoes) sit alongside cafes and bakeries. It becomes pedestrian-only on weekend afternoons.
